Construction Lead (Mechanical) CP

Job Description

Lead and manage Compression EPC Contractor for safe and successful execution of CP Topsides mechanical works scopes. Ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering Drawings and industry processes and standards. Has a strong background in large rotating gas compressor (turbine driven) packages & large gas turbine generator units, also to have knowledge of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Compression EPC Contractor for safe execution of mechanical works
• Ensure constructability of design consistent with drawings and standards
• Supervise and control activities of Contractor/Subcontractors related to mechanical fabrication
• Review documentation for compliance with technical requirements
• Identify areas of concern with respect to progress or quality and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in Risk Assessments and kick off meetings
