To manage, monitor and control the company’s financial accounts and records ensuring cost, expenditure & revenue are within the right mechanism, all carried in compliance with Air Arabia policies, procedures and approved accounting standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance/Commerce or equivalent
CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificates are preferable
7+ years of similar experience in corporate finance/accounting in Airlines Industry
Minimum of 3 years at least handling cost areas related to Engineering and Maintenance sections
Fluent in Arabic and English Languages
Responsibilities
Manages and monitors the company’s accounts including general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers
Supports management in decision-making related to Cash-Flow distribution
Provides cash forecasts and manages cash planning
Monitors market movements and exchange rates
Oversees daily management of Cash and Bank Accounts
Oversees monthly and annual accounts movements such as accruals and assets
Monitors technical costs, lease agreements, and service level agreements
Partners with stakeholders to supervise Engineering & Maintenance technical costs
Ensures efficient preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for controls and auditors
Manages revenue obtained from cargo, courier services, and ancillaries
