META Regional Financial Controller

Job Description

As a key member of the Finance Management team at Aramex, you will oversee financial stability and compliance across the META region. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities, including accounting, tax, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Member of Chartered Accountants
• 10 - 15 years’ experience in a senior finance role with multi country/region exposure
• Proficiency in SAP is desirable

Responsibilities

• Assists to set strategic direction of the business in the META region.
• Implement a comprehensive reorganization plan for the finance department.
• Enhance finance efficiency and control by exploring regional-level centralization.
• Oversee financial compliance matters including reporting, tax, and budgeting.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-term planning and acquisitions.
• Oversee working capital management and cash flow.
• Improve systems and processes that drive business growth.
• Ensure high team engagement and build a performance driven team.
