Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related field (minimum).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis, preferably in the UAE or a similar market.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE) and BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Robot, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of national and international codes and standards (e.g., UAE Building Codes, Eurocodes, ACI/ACI 318, AISC).
• Solid understanding of reinforcement detailing, concrete and steel design, and connection detailing.
• UAE residency status or eligibility to work in the UAE is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop robust structural concepts.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures.
• Develop 3D models and BIM coordination (e.g., Revit) to support design and clash detection.
• Perform structural analysis and load calculations for axial, bending, shear, and dynamic effects.
• Evaluate material performance, constructability, and cost implications.
• Prepare design reports, technical memos, and design-change documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during detailing and shop drawing review.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control requirements.
