Call for External Collaborator (Translation/Revision) – Arabic to Kurdish

Job Description

Translation of the National Employment Policy of Kurdistan from Arabic to Kurdish for the ILO PROSPECTS partnership in Iraq.

Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in Arabic and native-level command of Kurdish.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in translating technical documents.
• Experience translating for UN agencies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Kurdistan National Employment Policy (approx. 125,000 words).
• Maintain accuracy and technical terminology.
• Conduct quality review and proofreading.
• Incorporate feedback from ILO.
