Senior Mechanical Engineer (Onshore Pipelines) for a national oil and gas operator in Doha. Must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience in the Oil & Gas industry, of which 6 years should be in Pipeline.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
Chartered/Professional Engineer status preferable
Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in Oil & Gas
6 years in Pipeline Engineering
Responsibilities
Conduct pipeline engineering activities for projects
Create, develop and review work-scopes
Ensure client technical assurance practices and safety policies are followed
Review technical deviations and variations
Support Engineering Department to review and update standards
Plan and coordinate activities of a multi-discipline engineering team
Carry out in-house site surveys and design
Evaluate technical bid packages
Support the development of personal technical competency
