UNICEF works in 190 countries and territories to uphold the rights and wellbeing of every child, focusing especially on the most vulnerable. Guided by a life‑cycle approach, UNICEF prioritizes early childhood development, adolescence, and the needs of children living in fragile contexts, facing disabilities, or affected by rapid urbanization and environmental degradation. Its mission centres on removing barriers caused by poverty, violence, disease, and discrimination, while promoting education, immunization, nutrition, and dignity for children and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Within this global mandate, UNICEF Lebanon’s Education Access programme aims to ensure safe, inclusive, and continuous learning opportunities for Lebanese and non‑Lebanese children. The programme strengthens enrolment and retention, monitors adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), improves data systems, and enhances coordination across education pathways. This assignment requires compliance with WHO‑endorsed COVID‑19 vaccination requirements and offers reasonable accommodation for candidates with disabilities.
