Group Chief Accountant

Job Description

NymCard is hiring a Group Chief Accountant to oversee core accounting operations, lead a team of accountants, and drive finance system transformation through automation. The role includes ownership over financial governance, reporting accuracy, and compliance across legal entities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance
• 3+ years in a group-level leadership role
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and multi-entity financial reporting
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Oversee A/R, A/P, GL, inventory, and revenue recognition
• Ensure consistent application of accounting standards across legal entities
• Transform manual processes into automated workflows
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors
• Manage and mentor the accounting team
