Planning Engineer-MEP

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Planning Engineer with strong expertise in Tank Construction projects within the Oil & Gas industry. The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination of mechanical construction activities to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Requirements

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• 7–12 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, specifically storage tank construction

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules, work programs, and resource plans for tank construction works
• Develop baseline schedules, manpower histograms, and equipment deployment plans
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, QA/QC, and procurement teams
• Analyze schedule delays and propose recovery plans
• Ensure planning compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards
• Support project management with cost control, forecasting, and planning updates
• Attend progress meetings and liaise with clients and consultants as required
