Health and Safety Engineer, Mersin

Job Description

We are looking for a Health and Safety Engineer who will act as an H&S coordinator at the Mersin location and take part in implementation projects.

Requirements

• Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Environment, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• C Class Health and Safety certificate (Preferred A or B)
• Preferably Nebosh IGC certificate
• Proficiency in English and Turkish
• MS Office applications and SAP knowledge
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Mersin

Responsibilities

• Act as H&S coordinator at the location and taking part in implementation projects
• Carry out conformity assessments according to ISO 45001 and local regulations
• Implementing and executing OHS Management Systems requirements
• Organizing and reporting periodic OHS board meetings
• Providing plans for periodic controls, maintenance, and measurements
• Taking measures for OHS Management Systems performance reporting
• Following up routine measurements, analyzes, and permissions with official institutions
• Making suggestions for hazard identification and risk assessments
• Managing trainings within the scope of ISO 45001
• Determining annual budget for OHS activities
