Job Description
K20s is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer in Iraq for field projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on Baker Hughes heavy-duty gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, covering installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
5–7 years of field experience in Oil & Gas / Power sector
Strong experience with BH heavy duty gas turbines
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance and overhauls on BH gas turbines
Execute preventive maintenance on centrifugal compressors
Carry out disassembly, assembly, and alignment of rotating equipment
Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
Support commissioning and startup of turbine packages
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and PTW systems
Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation
