HVAC Technician

Job Description

HVAC Technician role supporting naval vessels and associated life support operations at the Iraqi Naval Base in Umm Qsar. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of HVAC systems aboard 60-meter Offshore Support Vessels, 35-meter Patrol Boats, and life support facilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 6 years of progressive experience in servicing HVAC systems and components
• Proficient in English
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS
• Ability to obtain a country clearance and base pass authorization

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems (AC, heating units, heat pumps, compressors)
• Inspection and testing of HVAC systems and components
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems
• Maintain records of HVAC maintenance and repair work
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
