The Cable Technician will be responsible for the installation of inside/outside plant copper and fiber optic cables, terminating all types of fiber optic connectors for Amentum sites in Iraq.

High school diploma or GED.
Three (3) years’ experience working as a cable technician.
Knowledge of NFPA / OSHA / ANSI-EIA-TIA standards.
Valid driver's license.
US Citizenship required for facility credentials at this location.
Satisfactory English proficiency.

Pull, test, tone, label, troubleshoot, and repair inside and outside plant wiring.
Perform site surveys and testing on fiber and copper cables.
Install new lines and repair existing DSN and LAN lines.
